The world number one, Carlos Alcaraz, seeks to start the clay court season on the right foot after failing to win any of the United States Masters 100 (Indian Wells and Miami). The Murcian faces Sebastián Báez in the second round of Monte Carlo, the first large clay court tournament of the year. He won the first set 6-1, with very aggressive tennis to which Báez still has not found a response. Alcaraz, that is, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome (something that no one has achieved) and complete the feat by raising the great Frenchman again.
