The decided to expel the mayor of São Caetano do Sul, Tite Campanella, this Tuesday (7).
Campanella was quite upset after criticizing, during a tribute to the deputy (PP) on March 25th, the performance of the São Paulo senators. It was Pontes who asked Campanella to resign.
“There are three senators who count absolutely nothing,” said Mayor Campanella, who was speaking during the presentation of the Cidadão Sulsancaetanense title. “I doubt you remember the name of one of the three,” he said, addressing the audience.
Campanella also promised support for Derrite’s candidacy, despite the PL executive studying party names, such as state deputy André do Prado and the vice-mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Mello Araújo (SP), for the Senate race.
When contacted by the Panel, the mayor did not comment until the publication of this text.
