Netanyahu’s words come after Israel launched this Wednesday and the United States affirmed that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire under the argument that a large part of Hezbollah’s leadership was supposedly located there.

Since the start of the war, as reported by the Lebanese authorities, the Israeli attacks have left at least 1,700 dead and more than a million displaced. Furthermore, according to sources close to the group, at least 400 combatants have died as a result of the attacks.

Representatives of Iran and the United States are expected to meet in Islamabad this Saturday to discuss and negotiate an end to the war. as well as to detail the points of the agreed ceasefire, that although it was celebrated by a large part of the territories of the region, for now it has not been respected.

It is expected that during the talks that will begin this weekend will be discussed behind closed doors, among other points, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz or the inclusion of Lebanon in the ceasefire.
