Singers Daniela and Veronika Nízlové from the musical duo TWIINS are inseparable at work and in private life. No one will be surprised that they go on vacations together. It was during one of them that they experienced an incident that seemed innocent at first glance, but the situation turned very quickly. They openly discussed its details in the podcast.
In her memories, Daniela returned to the shared moments in Southwest Asia from 2022. “We were on vacation, a large vacation resort in Cyprus. It was clearly a family resort. Linduska was a blonde with blue eyes, so she was so exotic for them. There was this guy who came up to us saying how adorable she is, could you take a picture of her. It somehow didn’t work for me then, so I allowed” she admitted at the beginning. She has a daughter Linda (6) with football player Stanislav Lobotka after a two-year relationship.
The situation took a rapid turn and the nurses began to realize that something was wrong. “Then they were on our heels the whole vacation. They, in my opinion, sent the photo for approval that they could take it, that is, steal it.” believes Daniela, who at that time was overcome by fear for her daughter.
Veronika also confirmed her words about the suspicious behavior of unknown men. “They expected us to go swimming and let the children sleep in the stroller by themselves. I normally saw how one nervously called the other from the deckchair at the bar and they normally shouted at each other,” she described the terrifying situation they witnessed. Both tried to keep their cool and did not let the children out of their sight even for a second.
However, this incident was not the only one, and a similar situation was repeated a little later. “The same thing happened to us later on another vacation on a cruise ship. The Indians wanted to take a picture of her again, but I didn’t allow it. Since then, I forbid strangers to take pictures of my child,” Daniela tells her forcefully.
She decided to publish her experience mainly as a warning to other parents, drawing attention to the frightening simplicity of possible kidnapping. “Those men were housed there, but that’s the least. You put chloroform on the child’s face, throw it in your suitcase and check out of the hotel,” she described the scenario that flashed through her mind at the time.
