Businessman Maurício Camisotti signed a plea bargain agreement with the in which it states that there is the existence of fraud in deductions for pensions from the (National Social Security Institute).
Camisotti is under suspicion of being one of the main operators of the irregular discount scheme. The information comes from journalists Aguirre Talento and Carolina Brígido. Saccording to the report, the defense forwarded the material to the office of the minister of , for approval. THE Poder360 confirmed the information.
Camisotti was the target of Operation Without Discount, the same one that arrested Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes, known as Careca from INSS. According to the PF, he acted as a silent partner in an entity and benefited from Social Security fraud.
The agreement was negotiated exclusively with the PF. This is the first statement in the investigation. The document will also be analyzed by the Attorney General’s Office. Negotiations for the agreement began at the end of 2025.
According to the INSS CPMI rapporteur in Congress, deputy (PL-AL), the Camisotti family received 5 times more illegal money than Careca from INSS, considered the largest financial operator in the scheme. Maurício’s son, Paulo Camisotti, is named as the director of more than 20 companies investigated in the operation.
DISCOUNT-FREE OPERATION
In April 2025, the PF revealed a scheme of embezzlement and fraud at the INSS. According to the corporation, irregularities were identified related to association monthly fee discounts applied to social security benefits, mainly retirements and pensions granted by the INSS.
It is estimated that at least R$6.3 billion was diverted from beneficiaries by unions and other entities.
The operation caused the removal of the then president of the INSS, Alessandro Stefanutto. Faced with pressure on the federal government, the then Minister of Social Security, (PDT), resigned.
