The President of the United States, (Republican Party), stated this Friday (April 10, 2026) that the United States no longer has strategic alternatives and that its survival depends on an agreement. “The only reason they are still alive today is to trade!”wrote in posts on Truth Social.
Trump declared that Tehran has exhausted its strategic options on the international stage. He said that the country does not have “sleeve papers” and who has resorted to what he called “short-term extortion” against the international community, in reference to tensions and threats involving the control of strategic waterways.
In another publication, made on the same day, the North American president also mocked the country’s military capacity. He stated that Iranian leaders have greater ability to “public relations” and in handling the press than in direct combat. According to him, the regime is “better at dealing with fake news media than fighting”.
