Otočka in Telerán: New tree frogs? Vratko Sirági eliminated his competition in a live broadcast!

Viewers of the Teleráno na Markíza morning show were in for a real surprise on Wednesday, April 1. Brand new weather presenters appeared on the screens. Influencer Denis Kučera, who after overcoming childhood cancer became paralyzed and ended up in a wheelchair, spoke to the audience. His wife Alex Laura Kučerová stood behind him, showing with her hands what Denis was saying, and showed on the map of Slovakia which part of the given forecast refers to.

While reporting the forecast, Vratko Sirági, who usually reports the weather in Telerán, came to the married couple. “Alright guys, take it easy, this is my job,” announced the moderator. He grabbed Denis’s cart and pushed it out of the picture. Alex just stood in front of the cameras in amazement and smiled.

So far, the television has announced such changes in advance to its fans through social networks and on the web. What was different this time? The hosts of the morning show quickly clarified to viewers that it was an April Fool’s joke. You can find the VIDEO at the end of the article. The funny change was appreciated in the comments on the social network by the presenter of Športové noviny Jana Hospodárová. “Wow. Pro,” she said to Denis. You can find a PHOTO of the comment in the gallery.

April Fool’s Day is not just about innocent pranks between friends or colleagues. Every year, large companies, well-known brands and televisions also participate in this tradition – and their imagination often knows no bounds. It is on this day that they make sure to surprise, shock or really confuse their fans.

Bombastic news, revolutionary products or unexpected announcements appear on social networks, which at first glance seem completely serious. Many people run into them without hesitation, and that’s exactly the point. Some even get so carried away that they start sharing the “news” immediately. Only later do they discover that they have stumbled upon a well-prepared April Fool’s prank. Then comes either laughter or minor shame.

The interesting thing is that companies really care about these jokes. They prepare them weeks in advance, adjust the details and try to make them look as believable as possible. For them, it is not only fun, but also a way to attract and stay in people’s consciousness. Televisions, on the other hand, can surprise with “shocking” news or unexpected changes in the program. This keeps the audience in suspense until they realize it’s just an innocent prank.
