In several locations in Slovakia, especially in the east, there is a risk of frost on the night from Sunday to Monday (April 13). It represents a threat to vegetation. Meteorologists have therefore issued warnings of the first level for almost the entire Košice and Prešovský regions and for the Revúca district. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informed about it on the website.
“At a height of two meters above the surface, the minimum air temperature is expected to reach minus one to minus four degrees Celsius. Expected frost at two meters is not rare in the given time of year and areas and can damage the vegetation.” warned meteorologists.
