A witness says that he recommended Ábalos’ son not to buy the La Alcaidesa chalet
The interrogation of businessman Manuel Pérez has focused in part on the chalet in La Alcaidesa (Cádiz) that the alleged plot would have bought for Ábalos. According to what he said, he advised Víctor Ábalos, son of the former minister, against purchasing that home, considering that it did not have an “interesting” price nor could it be sublet. However, he stated that he did not see the contract in question. “I did an analysis of the housing in the area. Not about the contract,” he stressed.
Asked about some messages that the Civil Guard maintains were exchanged with Koldo García, the witness indicated that they had nothing to do with the chalet in Cádiz. According to what he stated, they were to offer him to look for holiday apartments on the Costa del Sol for the former advisor and his family. “Mr. Koldo is known, but he is not a friend of mine,” he added.
