In the era of the Polish People’s Republic, she reigned in homes, offices and schools. Wood paneling, as we are talking about it, has been considered the pinnacle of luxury and functionality for decades. Over time, however, this popular finishing material began to arouse extremely negative emotions. Poles were tearing off wooden strips en masse, associating them only with the grayness of the 1980s, the lack of market choice and crude craftsmanship. Currently, the world of design proves that trends love to come back. Designers saw great potential in forgotten panels, transforming the former symbol of kitsch into an extremely desirable architectural detail.
