Nuremberg – Austria’s national soccer team is still without a point at halftime of the group phase of the World Cup qualification. The ÖFB selection lost 1:5 against the impeccable Pool A4 table leaders Germany in Nuremberg on Tuesday and lost for the third time after the 0:1 defeats against Norway and in Slovenia. There was nothing to be gained against the number three in the world in the eighth direct duel. The next chance comes in the second leg in Ried on Saturday (6 p.m.).
