O São Paulo won the O’Higgins 2-0 on Tuesday night (14) at Morumbi, in a game valid for the second round of the group stage of CONMEBOL Sul-Americana 2026. and Artur, Tricolor from São Paulo reached six points and took the lead

With the advantage on the scoreboard, São Paulo managed the result and controlled the actions of the game, while O’Higgins tried unsuccessfully to reduce the difference.

The match was marked by many fouls and yellow cards, with a total of eight warnings given by Argentine referee Darío Herrera. São Paulo had three players warned: Jonathan Calleri, Luciano and Damián Bobadilla. O’Higgins received five yellow cards: Felipe Ogaz, Luís Pavez, Juan Leiva, Martín Sarrafiore and Thiago Vecino.

With the result, São Paulo reached six points and took the isolated lead in Group C of the South American Championship. O’Higgins remains with three points, occupying third place in the group. In the next round, Tricolor São Paulo will seek to maintain 100% success to advance its classification to the round of 16 of the competition.

The team led by Roger Machado returns to the field for the Brasileirão before their next continental commitment.
