Reserve Air Force colonel Maurício Pozzobon Martins, brother-in-law of the governor (Republicans), lost the position he held in Alesp (Legislative Assembly of ) amid the changes caused by the deadline for candidates to be incompatible for the October election.
Martins, who is married to the first lady’s sister, Cristiane de Freitas, (Republicans), a friend of the governor. Campetti was a substitute for another deputy, Rui Alves (Republicans), who returned to the Legislature on the 1st to run for re-election.
As an advisor, Martins received gross remuneration of R$25,400.

Tarcísio was Minister of Infrastructure between January 2019 and March 2022, during the (PL) government. During the period, both the governor’s brother-in-law, his wife and son held positions in the federal government.
Martins worked at Infraero, a state-owned company that manages airports, after going to the Air Force reserve in 2019, and stayed there until 2022. The first lady was appointed at Embratur, a company linked to the Ministry of Tourism. The governor’s son did an internship at the Ministry of Economy, at the time headed by .
