The principal of Pauls Valley School, Kirk Moore, avoided a possible tragedy by disarming a former student who was preparing an attack in Oklahoma, in the United States.
The incident occurred last Wednesday and, during the intervention, the person responsible ended up being shot in the leg, still managing to prevent the worst.
The suspect, Victor Lee Hawkins, a former student at the school, allegedly planned an attack inspired by the Columbine Massacre. In his possession were two firearms belonging to his father.
The principal’s quick action proved decisive in stopping the attack, avoiding potentially devastating consequences within the school.
