OMV must fully pass on the fuel price brake

It was a bang: Shortly after the black-red-pink government introduced the fuel price cap, the partially state-owned energy company OMV declared itself unable to meet the requirements. In the future, the planned savings of five cents per liter will no longer be passed on when it comes to diesel prices, but only 2.8 cents per liter, according to OMV in mid-April. The reason for this approach is the market situation surrounding diesel, a large proportion of which has to be imported in Austria.
