From Monday (April 27) to Thursday (April 30), passengers traveling by train from Bratislava to Hungary will be closed on the line between Bratislava-Petržalka, Rajka and Hegyeshal stations. The Slovakian Railway Company (ZSSK) and the Hungarian carrier will provide alternative bus transport with a transfer in Rajka. Passengers must expect a longer journey. TASR informed the ZSSK communication department about it.
“The buses will run on the Slovak side at times according to the train schedule. The connections will continue to Bratislava main station (always arriving at approximately xx.25 h). In the opposite direction, buses will depart from Bratislava main station (public transport station H) at xx.30 p.m. They also stop near Bratislava-Petržalka (at xx.49 h) and continue to Rajka. The section Bratislava Nové Mesto – Bratislava-Petržalka will not be served by trains or alternative bus transport during the lockout. said the state carrier.
The shutdown will begin on Monday with Os 1339 train departing from Petržalka at 08:49. It will last until Thursday afternoon. The last connection that will be limited should be Os 1346 with departure from Rajka at 4:12 p.m. ZSSK recommends that passengers check the connection on the company’s website or in the application before traveling and have a time reserve.
