The project was approved this Wednesday (22) and will now be analyzed by senators. The National Union of Aeronauts tried to implement an amendment that would force companies to operate with Brazilian employees and under the labor rules here.
According to the entity’s president, Tiago Rosa, the measure would guarantee greater safety for passengers because inspection would be carried out under the strict rules of the (National Civil Agency).
“There are many ‘pirate’ companies, which operate anyway and put passenger safety in the background. The risk is great,” he told the Panel.
This is because several projects of interest to aeronauts are shelved, with no provision for discussion in Congress, such as the special one.
Now, the objective is to try to approve the amendment rejected in the Chamber. Aeronauts already consider the approval of the project certain, because it has the support of northern parliamentarians, such as the president of the Senate, (União-AP).
