The stage where Shakira, 49, will perform the Todo Mundo megashow in Rio, on Saturday (2), is being set up on the sands of Copacabana Beach. The Colombian will have a record structure, surpassing what was prepared for Lady Gaga and Madonna in the first two editions of the event.
That of Todo Mundo no Rio, confirmed to CNN that the structure will now have an area of 1,500 m², instead of the 1,345 m² previously announced.
From base to top, the stage will be 56 meters high and the catwalk will be 25 meters long. Along the entire beach, the organization will spread 16 LED screens measuring 45 m² with sound.
“To facilitate the view of those on site, the stage will be 2.20 meters high from the base in the sand”, said Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer, partner at Bonus Track.
Around 10 tons of equipment for Shakira’s show arrived at RIOgaleão Cargo, the cargo terminal at Tom Jobim International Airport, in . The material arrived in the operations of two different airlines — Atlas, from Mexico, and American Airlines, from the USA — and went to Copacabana.
Next Saturday (2) in a show already dubbed “Lobacabana” by the singer herself, following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga in 2025 and Madonna in 2024.
