After Daniela Mercury during the Armandinho and Irmãos Macedo Trophy, last Tuesday (28), the artist took to social media to apologize to the singer.
In the note, posted this Wednesday (29), Daniela argues who has always stood up in defense of women’s rights and that when mentioning Edson, saying that he should be affectionate with his partner, she addressed all Brazilian men.
“His speech had a broad and symbolic character, addressed to all Brazilian men, in defense of relationships based on affection, respect and dignity for the lives of women” he writes in a press release.
The singer also says he regrets that his statement generated a different interpretation and apologizes to Edson Gomes for any embarrassment. Daniela also states that she would like to speak personally with the artist at another time.
