The majority of the city’s population approves of the new Sena Madureira road complex, in the south zone, according to a survey. The survey, commissioned by management (), shows 92% of those interviewed have a favorable view of the work.
The survey was carried out between April 22nd and 25th with 1,500 city residents aged 16 and over. The margin of error is three percentage points.
Furthermore, 87% of those interviewed said that the new complex will improve the quality of life of those who live or travel in the region. 83% of those surveyed classify the work as excellent or good.
The work of , is one of the Nunes administration’s priorities in the road sector. The municipal management says that the complex will help ease traffic at the meeting.
From the beginning, however, it was opposed by environmentalists, because it included the need to remove native trees from the site.
According to the survey, 83% of those interviewed approved carrying out the work even considering the need to remove the trees. The city hall says there will be compensation through the planting of more than a thousand new trees in the neighborhood.
