In the publication, Eduardo, in which the two appear seated during a meeting in the United States, declared: “To those who asked about the shirt”.
Earlier, on the same day, journalist Paulo Figueiredo took a photo in the same place with the brothers. In the image, Eduardo also appears with the piece, in reference to the post.
Flávio traveled on Sunday (May 3, 2026) after the Vitória em Cristo Assembly of God, at the invitation of pastor Silas Malafaia.
The senator presented a request to the Senate on April 29 to undertake the trip. In the document, he requests permission to carry out a political or cultural mission of parliamentary interest, at no cost to the Federal Senate, from May 3rd to May 6th. Here is it (PDF – 256 kB).
As of this Tuesday morning (May 5, 2026), the status of the application on the Senate website is still “in progress”.
Flávio’s trip takes place in the same week that the president (PT) leaves for the United States. One is planned with (Republican Party) in Washington.
