Senator intensifies agenda with the market after advances in research; PL president participated in the meeting
The senator (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency, had dinner on Monday (May 4, 2026) with Brazilian businessmen in Miami, in the United States.
The meeting, according to allies, was held at the home of Marcelo Kayath, a businessman who, in the past, had a career in banking. The PL president, , also participated and embarked back to Brazil soon after.

The meeting is part of a sequence of conversations that the senator has had with market representatives, intensified after the improvement of his performance in the electoral polls, in which he appears in a technical tie – and, often, numerically ahead of the president (PT).
Flávio was asked about his positions on economic policy, fiscal commitment and relations with investors in the conversation. In these meetings, he usually uses the history of his father’s government as a reference for economic management, with the exception that a possible new mandate would not face the exceptional context of the pandemic – cited as a central factor of wear and tear during the period.
The approach with businesspeople comes at a time when part of the economic establishment is starting to consider the possibility of a Flávio Bolsonaro government more seriously. The movement is seen as an attempt to bring forward bridges and reduce uncertainties about economic conduct in an electoral scenario that is still open.
