Meio/Ideia Survey interviewed 1,500 people across Brazil from May 1st to May 5th, 2026
A survey by Meio/Ideia released this Wednesday (May 6, 2026) shows that the president (PT) has a rejection rate of 44.8%. The PL senator and pre-candidate for President, , has 38%.
Meio/Ideia asked: “And if the candidates were these and the election were held today, who WOULD YOU NOT VOTE FOR AT ALL for president of Brazil? Any others? Any others? Multiple Answer”. Here is how the interviewees responded:
The survey interviewed 1,500 people across Brazil from May 1 to 5, 2026. The margin of error is 2.5 percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level of the survey is 95%. The survey is registered with the TSE Superior Electoral Court under number BR-05356/2026. The study cost R$27,600. It was paid for by Canal Meio. Read (PDF – 4.47mB).
