Document outside of official reports for several years. “They investigated me for months, they found nothing!”
The warning was given by , a week ago: there is a suicide letter apparently written by Jeffrey Epstein. It was found in 2019 by its then cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, who found it inside a book.
The document was almost 7 years old. It was turned over to Epstein’s defense team and was eventually sealed by a judge. Investigators did not have access. It is not included in official reports.
Now, a US federal judge has made public this suicide note attributed to the tycoon accused of abusing and sexually trafficking minors, and who committed suicide in his prison cell in 2019.
Judge Kenneth Karas, of the federal court in White Plains (New York), shared the content of the document precisely after a request from The New York Times. The authenticity of the note has not been confirmed, however.
At the beginning of the letter, it reads: “They investigated me for months, they found nothing!!!”
Later, we read that the accusations are related to something that happened many years earlier.
“It is a privilege to be able to choose the moment to say goodbye. (…) What do you want me to do, start crying!!”, continues the document.
At the end of the letter, the author wrote: “It’s not funny. It’s not worth it!!”
