Russia announces two-day truce to celebrate Victory Day

Russia announced, this Thursday, a two-day truce in the war in Ukraine from midnight (10pm Lisbon) for the celebrations of Victory Day, which marks the defeat of Nazi Germany.

“We are talking about the days May 8th and 9th“, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov at his daily press conference.
