A man was arrested near Prince Andrew’s residence, in the east of England, on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and disturbing public order, after allegedly adopting intimidating behavior near the property.
A man was arrested on Wednesday for possession of an offensive weapon near the former Prince Andrew’s residence, police announced.
Norfolk Police received an alert at 7.30pm for the presence of a man who was “behaved in an intimidating manner” near the residence of André Mountbatten-Windsor, in the east of England.
“Officers went to the scene and the man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing public order and possession of an offensive weapon,” according to a police statement.
The suspect is detained for interrogation at a nearby police station.

At issue is the alleged sharing of official information with Jeffrey Epstein, with whom the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II maintained a friendship for several years.
Correspondence between the two men was published by together with millions of pages of American research documents on Epstein.

The amount was not disclosed and the agreement did not include admission of guiltalthough André expressed regret for the association with Epstein and recognized Giuffre as a victim of sex trafficking.
