Former first lady posted screenshots with payments for the work of the professional, who is also an employee of the Liberal Party
Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) posted on her website, this Friday (May 8, 2026), a of clarification about the double working day of lunch lady Rainê dos Santos. The publication is a response to the report by journalist Igor Gadelha, who talks about the professional being an employee of the Liberal Party.
Rainê was authorized, on Wednesday (May 6), by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, to visit the home of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), with whom she has worked for 8 years. He has been serving a prison sentence since March, also granted by the magistrate.
In the note, Michelle stated that she needs help with housework because of an injury. He said that the cook is a party employee and provides services separately at Bolsonaro’s house after work.
Finally, the former first lady also guaranteed that Rainê is paid privately. Along with the text, Michelle attached proof of payment for the service provided and for the transport used by Rainê.

The food security of a former president who is persecuted and who has already suffered an assassination attempt must be observed. The cook is our trust, she has worked with us since we lived in Rio de Janeiro and, therefore, I hire her as my helper whenever I need her.
