
As is already known, the rhythms of justice are often unpredictable, which does not diminish the consequences of its decisions, but sometimes increases them. One of the most important rulings that the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has pending is the one related to the challenges of the Court of Auditors and the one against the application of the amnesty law to the leader of Junts, Carles Puigdemont, and other promoters of the Catalan independence process. The countdown began in September 2024, when the corresponding preliminary questions on the case were presented in Luxembourg – the seat of that court.
