Survey by Paraná Pesquisas tested 2 scenarios; the senator scores from 42.6% to 49.2%
The senator (PL-PR) leads the dispute for the government of Paraná in all scenarios tested for the 1st round, according to a survey by Paraná Pesquisas released this Monday (May 11, 2026).
In the 1st scenario, Moro appears in the lead, with 42.6%. It is followed by (PDT), with 19.7%, and (MDB), with 16.3% — both technically tied for 2nd place. In the 2nd scenario tested, Moro has 49.2% and Requião Filho, 23.7%. The research also tested the names of Tony Garcia (DC), Sandro Alex (PSD) and Luiz França (Missão).
Moro gained national notoriety acting as a federal judge, in Curitiba, in the case that became known as Lava Jato and which sent dozens of businessmen and politicians to jail – the president (PT). Requião Filho is the son of Roberto Requião, who was once governor of Paraná.

The survey was carried out from May 8 to 10, 2026. 1,500 voters from Paraná were interviewed. The margin of error is 2.6 percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level is 95%. The registration with the Superior Electoral Court is PR-00323/2026. The study cost R$135,225.00 and was paid for by the Liberal Party with its own resources. Here is the survey (PDF – 679 KB).
