The two-time champions from the Big Apple made it into the play-off semifinals with a 144:114 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. New York swept the no-chance Sixers off the floor in four games with a “sweep” – i.e. without a defeat – and has already won seven wins in a row. In the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves drew level with the San Antonio Spurs with a 114:109 in Minneapolis.
