Because of the rain in Vienna, the ESC Village on Rathausplatz was temporarily evacuated on Monday evening. As the police announced, due to “the current weather situation”, people are asked to go to the exits and take the safety measures typical of thunderstorms. People should also clear the event area. Gusts of wind, heavy rain and also hail were forecast for the evening, although initially only the first two materialized.
