Let’s Dance Special 11th Annual: The Best of the Best, in which notable personalities from previous years presented themselves again on the dance floor, saw a spectacular end. Zuzana Porubjaková and Matyáš Adamec became the winners based on the audience vote! Ján Koleník and Dominika Rošková finished in second place, and Kristián Baran and Eliška Betáková came in third.
Zuzana Porubjaková and Matyáš Adamec spoke to the musician Teri Čikoš for Koktejl.sk after their triumph in Bratislava’s Incheba. How does it feel to be the best of the best? “It’s pleasant, very. And the more there are conversations, the more the shock goes away. But it’s a beautiful feeling and I’m looking forward to waking up in the morning and being able to process it all,” the queen of the dance floor, Zuzana Porubjaková, revealed her feelings on Sunday, May 10.
“It’s a great feeling. It’s a terrible satisfaction. And satisfaction. Total satisfaction, euphoria… I don’t know, such a classic.” said the king of the dance floor, Matyáš Adamec. “Such gratitude that the audience actually got us there with those voices. I find that incredible,” added the actress.
Last year, Porubjaková’s victory was narrow and she took the silver rank. What’s it like now to be with that prize and win it all?
“I really feel so grateful. I’m not exactly the type that likes to win, I have to admit. I prefer to always be in hiding, second, third… I was never used to that. But at one point I thought it would be really nice. I don’t know what it is, maybe some inner conviction. I don’t feel the best when all the attention is on me, but really, as Maty said, after all that time and all that a person experiences and survives, sometimes he feels that he deserves it. And everyone, in my opinion, because it may not look like it, but it’s really difficult to manage physically and mentally,” the actress poured her heart out.
The finale was Mother’s Day. How did the actress manage it all with three children, dancing and exercising every week anew? “Well, thanks for the help. It just really can’t be done without help. Of course, I was with them every free moment, I solved everything, but if it weren’t for Elenka and Ďurko and the in-laws, my mother and everyone around, who helped us, it really wouldn’t have been possible,” she thanked her loved ones.
