Drone dispute: Latvia’s head of government resigns


Riga – Latvia’s Prime Minister Evika Silina has announced her resignation after the breakup of her governing coalition. The 50-year-old liberal-conservative drew the consequences from the announcement of one of her two alliance partners that she would no longer support the continued existence of the coalition. This is not an easy decision, but it is the right decision in this situation, she said at a press conference in Riga on Thursday.
