The Italian-American acting icon Isabella Rossellini (73) will be honored with the Excellence Award at the 79th Locarno Film Festival and will receive the award on the opening evening in the Piazza Grande. “She is a visionary and incomparable performer and a self-deprecating genius,” wrote artistic festival director Giona A. Nazzaro in a press release.
