Positivo presents a loss of R$12.3 million in the 1st quarter

Positivo Tecnologia reported a net loss of R$12.3 million in the first quarter of 2026, 2.4% lower than that seen in the same period of 2025.

Between January and March, Positivo’s Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) totaled R$69.7 million, an increase of 31% compared to the result in the first quarter of 2025. The Ebitda margin was 9.4%, an increase of two percentage points compared to what was recorded a year earlier.

According to the company, the increase in the Ebitda margin reflects a greater participation of the information technology (IT) infrastructure category in the revenue mix. The business has better profitability than the portfolio average, Positivo points out in the results release.

Net revenue increased 3.6% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, to R$741.4 million.

The financial result was negative R$56.5 million, 26.5% higher than the R$44.7 million in the same period of the previous year. The increase is credited to the increase in the Selic rate and the greater exchange rate variation.

In turn, net debt was R$673.8 million, an annual decline of 11.4%, resulting in leverage of 2.1 times (Net debt/EBITDA), compared to 2.5 times in the first quarter of 2025.
