Margaret II of Denmark is admitted to the hospital because of chest pain. The Danish Royal House says that the queen emeritus86 years old, has cardiac angina.
He guarantees that despite being tired, the queen is in a good mood and that remain hospitalized over the weekend for observation and additional tests.
“Her Majesty is tired but in good spirits,” the Royal House said in a statement.
What is cardiac angina?
According to the cardiac angina or angina pectoris is the medical designation for a chest pain or discomfort resulting from coronary disease, in which the heart muscle does not receive the blood it needs.
The cause for this reduction in flow is almost always a narrowing or blockage of one or more of the coronary arteries.
An attack of cardiac angina is relieved by rest, and the use of nitrate-based medications is important because it allows the coronary arteries to relax and improve blood supply to the heart.
