Neymar posts three advertising videos celebrating his call-up – 05/18/2026 – Sports

About half an hour after confirming his name on Carlo Ancelotti’s squad list for the World Cup, Neymar had already published three videos on the social networks of some of his main sponsors.

“What about Neymar, huh? Neymar will give himself like never before for Brazil”, said the player in one of the publications, on the Mercado Livre platform.

A video from the energy drink manufacturer Red Bull celebrating the fourth World Cup to be played by the Santos striker, after participating in the 2014, 2018 and 2022 editions, was also published shortly after the announcement of the squad.

“79 goals for Brazil, and not finished yet”, says Red Bull’s post —Neymar is the team’s all-time top scorer, according to FIFA’s count.

The sports brand Puma was another that took advantage of the moment to publish a post on social media with its poster boy. In the play, Neymar appears smiling, tearing up a list that said he would not be called up.

Striker Vinicius Junior, in turn, took to social media to celebrate the confirmation of his name among the 26 called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the 2026 World Cup.

“That boy who played barefoot in São Gonçalo has arrived again. The World Cup is the peak of any player’s career and I’m going to my second,” the Real Madrid player wrote in an Instagram post.

The 25-year-old from Rio de Janeiro played in his first World Cup in 2022, in Qatar, when he scored a goal in the 4-1 defeat of South Korea, in the round of 16, and distributed two assists. Brazil ended up eliminated in the quarter-finals, in a penalty shootout, against Croatia.

“It took three and a half years of hard work to secure a place among the 26. It wasn’t easy. Thank you to the manager for his trust, my whole family, to the fans for their continued support. Let’s go together! We are Brazil and we will give our lives to bring joy to our country”, said Vini Jr in the post.

“May history be different! Trust in our group! The dream is alive!”, added the athlete.
