The police in Banská Bystrica are still looking for a car that is connected to violent criminal activity from the last few days. In this regard, he is asking the public for help. Andrej, a 37-year-old from Banskobystrica, was supposed to imprison a 44-year-old woman for several days in the trunk of a wanted VW T-Cross car. The Banská Bystrica regional police informed about this on the social network on Tuesday, and also published a photo of the car.
“We continue to work intensively on the case. For the ongoing procedural actions, the police need to track down the vehicle in which the accused imprisoned his victim for several days and in which the crime was supposed to have taken place. On the photo of the vehicle are plates with a registration number that were stolen in Banská Bystrica from another motor vehicle. We ask citizens, if they can provide the police with information that could help in locating the vehicle, to report it on 158,” the police said.
The police managed to find and detain the man over the weekend. The investigator charged him with the crime of restricting personal freedom committed in conjunction with the crime of robbery, crimes of bodily harm, dangerous threats and unauthorized production and use of means of payment. On Sunday (May 17), the District Court in Banská Bystrica took the accused into custody.
