A Unesp will hold on May 24, Sunday, the test of the first phase of the Vestibular Mid-Year 2026, with 4,434 candidates for 180 vacancies, 36 for Chinese language and culture, available in Assis and offered for the first time in the country, and 144 for agricultural, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering in Ilha Solteira.

Test details
The exam will be held in São Paulo (2,019 candidates), Assis (200), Bauru (765), Ilha Solteira (329), São José do Rio Preto (754) and São José dos Campos (367).
All candidates will answer 90 multiple-choice questions in the areas of Languages and their Technologies (elements of Portuguese Language and Literature, English Language, Physical Education and Art), Applied Human and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Philosophy and Sociology) Natural Sciences and their Technologies (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics and their Technologies. The test may contain interdisciplinary questions.
Required documents:
Candidates must present themselves from 1 pm, carrying the original of one of the following documents: ID, National Identification Card, Driving License, Military Certificate, Work Card, Passport, National Registry of Foreigners, Identity issued by the Armed Forces or card from a professional body or council. The gates to the test buildings will close at 1:30 pm.
The test materials to be taken by the participants are a ballpoint pen with black ink and a transparent ruler. The exam will last five hours, with food and hydration allowed during the exam.

The calendar of Vestibular Unesp Mid-Year 2026 foresees publication of the results of the first phase on June 12th, application of the second phase on June 20th and 21st and publication of the final result on July 10th.

The Vacancy Reservation System for Public Basic Education allocates 50% of the vacancies for each undergraduate course at the Unesp for students who have completed their entire secondary education in , with 35% of the places in this system going to people who declare themselves black, mixed race or indigenous. Public education students represent around 55% of enrollments.
