For a long time, the market taught athletes to just live in the present and make the most of it. The focus was win the next championship, close the next contract and enjoy the peak. But the scenario changed.
Today, anyone who thinks about the long term understands that Career cannot be treated just as a one-off cycle of victories. It needs to create long-term impact.
I believe in this a lot. The athlete works like a startup in constant evolution. You need to take care of performance, image, management of your own brand, the connections you build and, above all, what will remain and contribute to the next generations when the results come in.

Because the truth is that a competitive career has a deadline. The history, the legacy, no.
In my case, surfing was always the starting point of everything. But, over time, I began to understand that the opportunities created through sport could open up incredible paths. And I’m not just talking about business or financial investments. I’m talking about impact.
Today, I think much more about generate value than just achievements. Of course, the result remains important. It is what keeps the athlete relevant and competitive.

But, alone, it does not support an entire trajectory. What really creates value It is the ability to transform visibility into something that continues to generate movement, opportunities and connection with people.
This is what motivated me to join projects and companies that have a true relationship with me, my lifestyle and my what I believe for the future.
I don’t see any point in investing just thinking about an immediate return. For me, every project needs to carry purpose, identity and possibility of growth.

At the same time, I also understood that history inside and outside of sport is not just built in the market. It is built mainly through the people you can impact.
