Consequences for Pix

Durigan about possible consequences for Pix from the US action.

“There is a fear among financial institutions of suffering from discretionary attack instruments [por parte dos EUA]starting to say that a certain financial institution or account, a certain infrastructure, such as Pix, can be used by criminal factions, called terrorist groups by the North American name, if they start to attack the institutions as targets. This is a first concern”he stated.

According to him, “there cannot be an attack on sovereignty, on an important infrastructure like Pix due to a political fight”.

Not to mention (PL), who said that the president of the USA, (Republican Party), to classify the PCC and the CV as “terrorists”. Durigan stated: We are talking about a senator, who has a problem publicly justifying a relationship he had, and again causing problems for the economy, for families and for Brazilian businesspeople. This happened in Tarifaço also for an unknown reason last year”.

Flávio was involved in the Master case after the congressman asked Daniel Vorcaro for money for the film “Dark Horse”, which tells the story of (PL).

“This will signal to the market, to foreign investors, that there is more risk in the country, that they have to be more careful with direct investment in Brazil, with the share on the Brazilian Stock Exchange that they are going to buy. This is very bad and this is artificial. Simply a unilateral, political act, which creates smoke, which creates this feeling, when in fact there is none”these.

The Finance Minister said that, after the measure taken by the US, he spoke with CEOs of large banks. “They are already worried about being targets of possible actions. Therefore, they are increasing their compliance care and carrying out the necessary legal assessments at this time”he stated.

“What matters is cooperation [com os EUA] so that we can seize rifles, a synthetic drug that comes here from the United States. It is important to cooperate so that we receive this information about assets that are in Delaware [considerado paraíso fiscal]of judicial recoveries that are not completed in Brazil, because there are no assets of these companies, which are hidden there. Now, adopting measures to have electoral discourse harming Brazil once again is, in fact, something very regrettable”he declared.
