Carolina advanced to the finals of the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2008. Taylor Hall and Logan Stankoven had a goal and two assists. Danish goalkeeper Frederik Andersen blocked all 23 Montreal shots. The Habs’ only goal was scored in the 51st minute at a score of 0:5 by Cole Caufield on a power play. The finals series will begin Tuesday night into Wednesday, with Carolina having home field advantage in the first two meetings.
