Dominican Republic and Turkey face each other this Wednesday (3), at 1 pm (Brasília time), in a game valid for the first week of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League.
The confrontation takes place at the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, in Brasília. The match will be broadcast live from SporTV 2 (closed TV) and from VBTV (pay-per-view).
Runner-up in the world last year, the Turkish team is looking for its second VNL title. In 2023, Italian coach Daniele Santarelli’s team beat China in the big decision, by 3 sets to 1 (25/22, 22/25, 25/19 and 25/16), and won the cup.
In the preliminary phase of the Nations League, 18 teams will play 12 matches over three weeks. The eight best teams advance to the quarterfinals.
