Near the village of Liptovská Anna (district of Liptovský Mikuláš), a bear attacked a person on Thursday morning. Markíza television drew attention to the incident on the tvnoviny.sk portal. Petra Klimešová, spokeswoman for the Operation Center of the Emergency Medical Service, confirmed for TASR that rescuers are on their way to the scene.
Zuzana Hopjaková, spokeswoman for the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service of Air-Transport Europe, told Pre that the attack took place in very difficult to reach terrain. They cannot reach the attacked man by helicopter also because of the cloud cover. Ground ambulances are heading towards him, but it is difficult for a four-wheeler to reach the place.
