The Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies considered this Wednesday (27) the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) to end the 6×1 scale.

A survey by PoderData released this Thursday (4) showed that the Chamber of Deputies has a greater rejection than the Federal Senate of Brazil. The two appear with a disapproval of 48% and 44%, respectively. The survey was carried out between May 30th and June 1st, surveyed 2,500 people in 166 municipalities in the 27 units of the federation and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points, with a confidence level of 95%.

The survey asked how those interviewed evaluated the work of the Chamber of Deputies: 48% of those interviewed said they evaluated the work as bad or terrible; 34% said it was regular; 10%, excellent or good; and 9% were unable to answer.

Asked how they evaluated the command of the Chamber under the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in comparison to that of former President Jair Bolsonaro, 48% believe that it is worse than in the previous term. Another 33% consider it regular; 10%, as excellent or good; and 9% were unable to answer.

The survey also heard from interviewees about how they analyze the work of the Federal Senate. For 44% of them, work is bad or terrible; 33% consider it to be regular; 15%, as excellent or good; and 7% were unable to answer.

Regarding the comparison between Lula’s government and Bolsonaro’s, for 44%, the current command is worse than the previous one. 33% said it was regular, while 15% rated it as excellent or good. Another 8% were unable to answer.
