Slovak singer and well-known judge from SuperStar Pavol Habera (64) has become one of the world stars that can boast of one of the most desirable watch models today. A rare piece appeared on his wrist in the new series of the singing show, which is coveted by collectors all over the world, he writes. The Czech daily found out that it is a prestigious Rolex Daytona model with a unique turquoise dial.

It was this particular variant that became an absolute hit after its launch and is extremely valuable on the collector’s market. Although the official selling price of this model at the manufacturer is at the level about 40,000 euros, due to extreme demand and minimal availability, the reality is completely different. The market value of these luxury watches has skyrocketed to more than double, and some pieces are selling for even more.

SuperStar is making a big comeback

One of the most successful talent shows in the Czech-Slovak television space announces a spectacular return. Televisions Markíza and Nova are jointly preparing a new series of the singing competition SuperStar, which will reach viewers in the fall of 2026. The project, which has been discovering new musical talents for more than two decades, comes with the ambition to reach the next generation of viewers and maintain its cult status, according to its official website.

From the position of moderator, Leoš Mareš will again accompany the entire program, which format he proudly referred to as the “mother of talent shows” with which he is intrinsically linked. An integral part of the show will be renewed a jury that will bring an extremely diverse mix of experiences and genres to the audience.

The singer will take his stable place again Pavol Habera and after 13 years will also return to the jury chair Ewa Farna. The line-up will be completed by a seasoned actor and presenter Jakub Prachař and a big surprise is the newcomer, musician Calin. “When I’m old, I want to make a list of the things that I’ve experienced in my life. And I think being a judge on SuperStar will be one of those things that I’ll like to tell my grandchildren about,” Calin enthused about his television debut in the role.

The creators promise that the upcoming year will focus even more on the contestants themselves and reveal not only their talent, but also their personal motivation. Creative producer and director Pepe Majeský emphasizes that SuperStar is above all about people’s journey and their courage to stand on stage. According to him, the selection of the judges was a deliberate step – the fusion of Haber’s experience, Ewa Farna’s authenticity, Prachař’s humor and Calin’s youthful perspective should guarantee a great chemistry that will entertain viewers across all age categories.
