Brazil showed power to react and beat Argentina by 3 sets to 2 (partials of 18/25, 24/26, 25/19, 25/13 and 15/9) this Sunday (14), in a match valid for the first week of the VNL.
The Argentines started the match very well and took a 2-0 lead. However, from the third half onwards, and thanks to coach Bernardinho’s changes, Brazil managed to turn things around and close the opening week undefeated.
Now, the Brazilian team moves on to the second week of the competition, which takes place between the 24th and 28th of June. The games will be in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
At the end of the third week of the qualifying phase, the eight best teams will advance to the quarterfinals of the VNL. Brazil leads the table with 11 points, with Argentina in 17th place, with one point and no triumphs.
