Japan takes a point from the Netherlands late on


Dallas – The Netherlands did not get beyond a draw against Japan at the start of their World Cup mission. After leading twice in the top game of Group F, “Oranje” had to be content with a 2-2 (0-0). The goals for the three-time World Cup finalists were scored by captain Virgil van Dijk (51st) and Crysencio Summerville (64th). Former LASK professional Keito Nakamura (57th) and Daichi Kamada (89th) struck back for the Japanese in front of 69,285 spectators in Dallas.
