Inglewood (California) – The Iranian footballers are allowed to stay overnight in the USA during the World Cup in America. The Iranian association confirmed this to the German Press Agency on the day of the opening game against New Zealand. The original plan was for the team around attacker Mehdi Taremi to travel to the USA on the day of the match and then return to the team headquarters in Tijuana, Mexico, immediately after the game.
