Petista proposes CPI to investigate the Muralha Paulista program – 06/15/2026 – Panel

State deputy Donato (PT) filed a CPI request with the Legislative Assembly of (Alesp) to investigate using cameras

The PT member’s objective is especially aimed at hiring Prodesp, a joint company responsible for developing technological solutions for the government, with the private company Palladium.

In justifying the opening of the CPI, Donato says that Prodesp signed a contract with Palladium without bidding, and then Prodesp signed a contract, also without bidding, with the SSP (Public Security Secretariat) to implement and expand the park of sensors and systems for the Muralha Paulista program.

“A contractual triangulation was carried out between Prodesp, a private company that develops and provides technological solutions, and SSP-SP to circumvent the mandatory bidding process to contract the service”, says the deputy.

In a note, the government states that SSP has a contract with Prodesp for cutting-edge technology services for the Muralha Paulista program and that the partnership is supported by law.

“The processing and management of data are the responsibility of Prodesp, in accordance with contractual obligations. Prodesp has already provided clarifications to the State Court of Auditors and remains at the disposal of the control body. The business partnership is in accordance with the Law on State-Owned Companies”, says the government.
